The new JOBSON mobile app: write it once, all your employees will know
We are launching the JOBSON mobile app for staffing agency employees. Shift schedules, overtime offers, announcements and quick messages go from JOBSON straight to your people's phones. Whatever they send back stays in JOBSON.
Friday, half past three. Three people are missing for Saturday. Before: twenty phone calls or a WhatsApp group. Now: one overtime offer, and the coordinator simply confirms who is coming.
Overtime is just one of many situations, though. A staffing agency depends on information reaching the right people in time. Today that means phone calls, a shift schedule photographed into a group chat and coordinators answering the same questions from morning to night. That is why we are launching the JOBSON mobile app for agency employees.
One message instead of a round of calls
- A new shift schedule. You send it from JOBSON and everyone has their own shifts on their phone: when, where and in which hall.
- An announcement for everyone. Training, new rules at the dormitory, a later payday. You write it once, mark it as important and it reaches everyone who has the app.
- A message for one site or selected people only. “We start at 7:00 tomorrow” goes only to the people it concerns. Before sending, you see how it will look on the phone.
- An open overtime shift. You post an offer, people sign up on their phones and you confirm who is coming.
- “When is my shift tomorrow?” The answer is in the app, together with the branch contact. Coordinators' phones ring less.
You know who still needs a call
Before you send a new schedule, JOBSON tells you who does not have the app yet and will not hear about the change. You call only them. For every notification you also see who it reached.
Answers stay with the company, not on a coordinator's phone
The app has no list of people or shifts of its own; it takes them straight from JOBSON. Nothing is entered twice. Who signed up for overtime and who reported being on shift is in JOBSON and on each person's record. When someone leaves, messages for the site stop reaching them, and nobody has to be removed from a group.
The “I was on shift” report is an overview, not time tracking. Hours are still entered in the timesheet.
How to start
- Invite your people from JOBSON. One by one from the person record, or hundreds at once from the person directory.
- Everyone gets a text message with a code. You do not pay for the invitation texts.
- They download the app from Google Play and immediately see where they work, their shifts and whom to call at the branch. The app speaks English, Czech, Slovak and Ukrainian.
The iPhone version is in development. Contract signing directly on the phone is coming next.
What it costs
€0.60 (CZK 15) a month per employee who opens the app in that month. An invited employee who never opens it costs nothing. No minimum and no tiers. During the trial the app is free. See pricing for details.
You can also do all of this through the AI assistant: “Tell the people in hall B that tomorrow's shift starts at 7:00.” The assistant prepares the message and sends it only after you confirm.
